Distance Learning Degrees can be earned by graduating distance-learning degree programs, which eliminates traveling to school and attending a classroom environment. Instead, classes come to you on videotape or the internet. The criteria and examinations are the same you would receive in a traditional school, and extra credit can also be awarded. Distance learning degrees are also sometimes referred to as external degrees.
